Concrete Sub-base Requirements for Silicon PU Sports Flooring

1.Maintenance period for new concrete sub-bsase: at least 28 days.

2.Concrete sub-base thickness: about 15 cm

3.Concrete surface should be smooth,the acceptable deviation for 3m is ±3mm.If  the surface is uneven,please grind the surface.

4.The strength of concrete foundation shouldn't be less than C25.The concrete  surface should be dense and strong.There is no crack,delamination and powder on the surface.

5.In order to drain quickly,you should construct drainage ditch around the sports  flooring.The slope on the surface is 5‰~ 8‰.The design should meet requirements.

6.Because the concrete will expand with heat and contract with cold.Before install  our silicon PU,you can dig an expansion joint like"V"shape.the size is about 8mm(width)*8mm(length)*30mm(depth).You can use SBR and PU glue to fill the joint.This way can prevent  concrete cracking.

7.Before installation our silicon PU sports flooring,please test the alkalinity of  concrete.If the PH value is 12~14,please stop constructing.Because our silicon PU materials can't be applied on highly alkaline sub-base.
